I’ve been offering comprehensive and affordable private lessons throughout Los Angeles for over a decade. Teaching is a passion for me, and it brings me great joy to be able to share this passion with my students. From day one, they learn important foundational techniques to help them boost their skills and self-esteem. BIO
Ms. Kristen Lynn is a professional working musician and actor in Los Angeles. From Philadelphia PA, she holds a BFA in Acting from WVU and has extensive training in various styles of theatre, performance and music. Since the performance bug hit Kristen at a young age, she realized that the artist she had become was truly inspired by the professional performers from her childhood. She knew if she could use her gift to give back and inspire kids in the performing arts, she could make a difference in a child’s life. Some of Kristen’s credentials include: Teaching Early Childhood Music, Mommy & Me Music, Musical Theatre, Guitar, Pre-school Uke, Piano, Flute, Recorder, Cooking, Acting, Etiquette, Improv, Commedia Del’ Arte, Dance and Movement with companies such as Kid’s Music N’ Motion, Music Together, Got Game Kid’s Camp, Glenoaks Elementary, Guitars in the Classroom and Aimee Arts Productions. Music teacher at 3rd Street Elementary School with LAUSD; The Musical Theatre Teacher for the after school Program at Berkeley Hall; A Music Therapy teacher for special needs toddlers at The Atwater Center, and Carlson Hospital homes; Guitars in The Classroom Teacher -promoting literacy through ukulele & music to teachers; and the Band Leader to Kristen Lynn & The Foxgloves. Working with ages 3 and up, Kristen currently only teaches private Guitar, Voice, Piano, Flute, Ukulele & Acting Lessons. She is also fingerprinted and TB tested as a working teacher through the LAUSD district.

Making Learning Fun
Success in learning frequently depends on finding the right Music Teacher; someone who knows the subject well and understands how to inspire others. My teaching style focuses on skills training, but also emphasizes self-exploration and discovering a passion for something new. PIANO LESSONS
I know how difficult it can be to find a reliable teacher that focuses on Piano Lessons. Teachers need to be able to motivate and guide students towards success. As an experienced and passionate Music Teacher, I believe in an approach that gives students positive, constructive ways to learn. I design my lessons according to my students’ needs, with an emphasis on confidence-boosting activities.  Students will get to learn and play on a Yamaha Grand Piano in my music studio.
UKULELE & BANJOLELE LESSONS
I specialize in Ukulele & Banjolele Lessons.  That's right, I also play and teach the banjo-uke!  For a young child, playing and learning the ukulele can be loads of fun.  It's a nice intro to the guitar since it's easier to play and not as hard on the fingers.  We can start your child as early as pre-school on the ukulele.
VOICE LESSONS
I specialize in Voice Lessons, and know how to reach my students with the right balance of personalized attention, patience, practical training, and positive encouragement.
